Default Oops over filled tranny

I changed my AX15 oil today and my friend thought he would help when I had to take a phone call, anyways he pumped in almost 5 quarts of oil. The jeep was pointed on a slight down hill angle and he did not factor that in.
is it safe to drive with that full or should I drain some out ?

Eh it probably won't hurt anything as it's a manual (some say it will lead to increased heat in the manual trans) but I'd drain it as I prefer things within spec.

It may puke the extra out of the breather. Just remove fill plug on level ground and let it drain until it almost stops.

Wow talk about quick replys, I didn't think about parking on level ground and removing the fill plug thats a great idea. I have to do some driving tonight but not far I hope it does not puke out of the breather vent I just pressure washed the bottom of my jeep because of an oil leak I had.
Thanks

A night of driving overfilled isn't a big deal. You'll be fine.
