Default Only 1 headlight working

Good Evening, I've been having an issue recently where only my passenger side headlight has been fully turning on and the drivers side is only showing a very weak light. I took out and cleaned up the headlight contact points and made sure there was no corrosion. I switched the drivers and the passenger side headlights to see if it was just a bad bulb however both lights work as the should on the passenger side. I just replaced the headlight switch under the dash however I'm still getting this issue. I checked with a multimeter and the drivers side plug is getting power. When I switch to highbeams the drivers side light gets full power and works as it should. Any ideas on what to check next?
