Default The One Odd Head Bolt
I've been studying up on 0331 head replacement. My XJ's P.O. did one. Problem is, he's incommunicado.
Here's my question; What is the result of NOT using thread SEALANT on the one bolt that calls for it? I understand it passes through the water jacket?

Coolant can get into the oil.

are u thinking of not using sealant on #11?

Leakage. The bolt will also rust and you won't be getting it out. Worse yet, it could decay and fail.
