One last question (I hope)
When I put my 1994 CK Sport in 4 wheel high or low and start driving there is a loud banging noise. Before I go and get a T-case ($300 with 58,000 miles) is there any other suggestions of what to look for. Someone said something to me about a vacuum line?? Thanks...Tj
PS the T-case I found is from a 1998 cherokee, will it fit without many mods..

OK the one I found is from a 6cyl 5 speed trans from a 1998 and its a 231j. I have a 6cyl auto trans 1994 231j so should it fit without changing the input shaft? Thanks...Tj
