which one do i use
to start off im a newbie to the cherokee and have aquired 2 of them, a 95 sport and a 87 larado both in average condition 95 runs and drives 87 needs transfer. both have 4.0 95 has the high output. Im wanting to use one for a daily driver and the other will be tore apart as a toy for the local off road park. im wanting to run a 4 1/2 inch lift with 32 10.50 tires. but which one of them would be the better choice to drop the money into for a daily driver . and will i need to run longer drive shafts for that much lift.

Hey man welcome to CF
go look in the "All lift/tire questions go here" and find out what most are using and for what kind of rig/use. And in the future nearly any newbie question imaginable has been asnswered in more than a few ways so hit up the search and see what kind of solutions you can find there first.
But most will recommend RE for a DD and wheelin rig and RC for the price.
I like Rustys personally.

I think my daily driver would be the one i think is most reliable and looks good, but you said one is an 87,look at the rear diff and see if has a square fill plug for the oil,if it does it is a d44 and i would use it for your builder, d44s were used in 86,87 on xjs with the up graded tow packages, and in 88,89 but not as much.
The drive shaft will be fine, but a xfer case lowering kit will be good.
