OME lift with RE shocks
i was wondering if anyone has ran the leaf packs from OME with a set of rubicon express shocks? i know this seems like a dumb question- but most people by the same brand shocks as their lift cause most shocks are tuned for that companies lifts. just wondering if anyone has any experience or feedback. i priced my lift parts yesterday and its cheaper to run RE monotubes than it would be to grab a set of OME. plus i have been reading OME shocks are pretty soft, where as the RE monotubes are plush but alittle stiffer than the OMEs. which is what i want- since its a daily driver and id like to alleviate body roll.

i dont know, but i run the opposite of this haha. people mix and match lift parts all the time though and it seems to work for them.

Not really. They dont sell "XJ ONLY" shocks. All of their shocks are universal. They're good stuff, but not the end-all-be-all. RE Monos will be just as good.

When developing shock absorbers, Old Man Emu takes all these factors into consideration. This is reflected in the superb structural integrity of Nitrocharger shocks, along with the fact they are properly valved for the conditions they will be required to work under.
This experience in setting the most appropriate valving is what really sets the Nitrocharger apart from its competitors. Rocky Road's site says you can run 5" of lift on stock control arms, and that long arms make your Jeep handle like a skateboard.

i know of several people who run ome springs but not shocks, only because if you use b.p.e most say not compatable with ome shocks.
i run difrent brands front to rear, and thats only cause they came along for the right price at the right time, and im chuffed with the way mine handles, no better no worse than any other jeep ive been in with a setup like mine.
