Old Broke parts

Had to replace my distributor today. Cost 189 for this freakin thing....

but it runs alot better now..

Yeah I am curious as well what brand?? Was it a reman or a brand new one? I priced one for my 91 and it was like $80 but the only thing they replace is the gear, ya still have to swap the stator on.

not really sure. My mechanic found one at a local shop in town. Most of the ones I found on the internet were 190 plus. I know MSD makes one for the 4.0.
