Default Okay After oil change Grinding at start

I just changed oil / filter... Now when I go to start it, It makes a grinding noise. I stop turning the key then turn it back and it starts right up. Is it the starter?
It didnt make the noise before I changed the oil.

thats odd. maybe coincidence? I know sometimes it's almost impossible to not get oil on the starter when swapping filters. But I don't see how oil would really affect it. Sounds like the Bendix didint engage. if it keeps up I'd just replace the starter.

Check and clean the electrical connections at the starter, you may have dumped some oil on them when you pulled the filter and made a questionable connection bad.
