Oil spraying everywhere
So I drove 311 miles and right when I get off the freeway-my engine starts making all sorts of noises. I, thankfully, can pull right into my hotel and pop the hood. My jeep has oil spraying everywhere. It's a dark oil, so I am assuming engine oil. When I was turning into the parking spot it did became hard to drive. I let my vehicle sit and it did turn right on-roughly 30 minutes after I parked it.
Why would oil be spraying everywhere? Any ideas?
The bad news is I'm stuck here till it's fixed and I just dumped $950 into it 2 weeks ago.
Thanks!

Yes very dark, it's a hydraulic fluid but not as nasty as brake fluid. Sounds like you sprung a leak in the high pressure line or its fittings down to the steering box
to bad I can't fix it.
Now the real problem-how to get it towed 311 miles to my house (any ideas?)

all the garages here are booked for 2 weeks solid-I'm in North Dakota; heart of the oil boom. I'm going to try and sell it cause of all the hassle.

will there be any noises associated with this?
should I add more fluid before I do this?
