Default oil sensor connector

I have a 1996 Jeep Cherokee Classic. The oil sensor connector is leaking what/where does the one wire connect to. I can follow it to a hub of wires all taped up. Do I dig into that? Is that where it connects?

No.. the connector is just an electrical connection. The part that leaks is the sensor itself. You only need to replace the sensor and clean up the connector.
