oil problems??

oil problems??

ok i dont rely know whats goin on....at idle oil gauge drops to like 20psi and while moving its stays at 35-40 and it makes a knocking sound when it drops...any suggestions??

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but sounds like you have a rod bearing problem.

what oil weight are you running? how many miles? does it burn any oil?

Does it knock when the engine is cold?

I'm running 5w30 103,631 miles the dipstick says its full and its usually after i've gone somewhere and i put it in park after i've gone somewhere that it knocks
