Default Oil Pressure Socket

Hey guys, I just have a clarifying question about replacing the oil pressure sender switch.

In attempting to search the forums, I've found that the vast majority of you guys have the good ol' torque-meister of a 4.0L (I think that something like 99% of XJ's came with them), however, I'm looking to get an answer on the 2.5L.

In doing research figuring out which sensor works for my XJ (dummy lights), I've also come across information regarding the special oil socket necessary for replacing them. However, what I've really been trying to figure out now is, do I still need that special socket (specifically, the Lisle 13250) for the simpler dummy light switch? They are different shapes, and after looking at the two sender switches, I'm not so sure. Any help is appreciated!

Most peeps use a pipe wrench or channel locs.

I have never used the so called special socket to change out the oil pressure sending unit. All I ever used channel locs like Turbo X_J said.

Had no idea there was one... used channel locks, I think. Or a crescent wrench actually.
