Oil pressure problem
Replacing my oil pump this weekend, got the oil pan unbolted and ready to take out but having troubles with Clarence. I removed my started for a little more room, but the pan is still hitting my front axel And my trAns, been working on it for awhile an no results..... Any ideas would be helpful

Unless you want to unbolt the axle you have to jack up the front end a whole bunch. When the it's jacked up a scary amount you can barely slide the oil pan past the front axle.

welcome to Cf interesting 1st post..a few questions for you... if you do not mind...
what year is your Jeep?
What motor does it have? how many miles on it?
Why are you replacing your oil pump? They rarely go bad....

It's a 2000.
Has about 125000.
My oil preasure light was coming on, I replaced my sending unit thinking that would solve my problem. Didn't. So I replaced oil pump yesterday, seeing that a lot of forums and people I talked to said it was the oil pump, so did that and tried replacing my main rear seal. Tryed and could get it so a buddy said it would be fine just replacing bottom of the seal. Got it all back together and the oil preasure light went off again last night and my truck has a weird noise as I speed up.... Any help would be appreciated thanks fellow jeepers

Mine has 165,XXX miles on it, and check gauge lights comes up after oil warms up, also dipstick level is way up while coolant disappears. My question is how can this engines run so strong still?
Should've read more ... there's no salvation ... rebuild or run till it blows

Yup, oil pumps rarely fail. Most likely your engine is worn out. Low oil pressure is a condition and not a function.....higher oil pressure has no effect on protecting an engine. If you are still getting oil to the rockers you are getting it everywhere else. Mine has 101k miles with 4 psi and runs fine.
