recently my oil pg is really low, normally at speed it's up to 3, now it's there sometimes but mostly a little over 1. bad sender? my mech did an oil change and said it was a little loose, tightened it and it was better for about a day.
don't want to mess up my engine... I change my oil well before it's been needed ever since owning the car ... it now has over 200k on it.

 

Sending unt? Rod or main bearings?

 

Pull the plug out of the sending unit. If there is oil in where the plug goes it is bad.
