It should drop at idle. Normally my oil pressure is at a steady 60 while moving, but when I am stopped it is at 40.

yep, looks pretty normal to me. Mine runs above 40 in drive and drops around 15 or 20 at idle.

From the video, that is normal. That is how mine was before I started using thicker oil.

I was gonna make a thread but searched first :P
So.

When I got my jeep the oil pressure was at like 20 when I first started it and dropped to like 10 after it warmed up and driving and even lower at idle....

I changed the oil and put 10-40 in it now its like 50 when I start it but after it warms up its around 30 driving and 20 at idle. hasnt gone under 20. Is that bad or ok or what?

Oh I watched the video, mines no where near that responsive, it slowly goes up when I drive and slowly goes down at a stop.

I've never even had a car with an oil pressure gauge so I don't know.

Its an 89 I6 240,000 miles

Anything I should do? 20-50 oil?

because your jeep was built in 1991 and it has certainly xxx,xxx thousand miles and it is quite normal.
Change with 20w 60 oil this summer.

because any older car isnt going to have the same oil pressure as it was new and thicker oil makes for more pressure, besides that my driving style makes the engine work harder and the higher weight helps it from breaking down. but it depends on your climate as well, if its always freezing cold 10 30 may be ok, I use 10-40 in winter and 20-50 in summer

thats how mine runs now, with conventional oil from jiffy lube. back when i had high mileage oil, it pretty much ran straight up at 40 no matter what.
