Default oil pressure

When my 2000 4.0 cherokee gets to operating temp. and I come to an idle the oil pressure goes to 0 and then gauge light comes on. Motor seems fine when it happens. Thinking of going with aftermarket sending unit. Any thoughts?

Yeah, you need to see if it is the gauge, sending unit, or if you really have no pressure.

Believe the gauge first until proven otherwise.

Don't drive it like this.
