Default New engine

Put the new oil pump in, the bearing looked good, no play, etc, but after putting new oil pump in the same thing happened. This time, we took off the oil fitler and found bits of metal inside. The new engine arrived yesterday and is being installed.

Anything else I should change while doing the engine?

Nate

Wow... Hope you got a good deal on that XJ.. Did the guy sugar coat the problems?

Kudos for hanging in there with it.
