Where did you get the new oil pressure sender? Their reading can vary...

Within specs if the readings are accurate. Best to check with a rented/borroweded mechanical gauge to verify the readings. What brand of oil filter are you using?

not to argue, b ut the 20-25 psi at 2000 rpms is not in spec. spec is above 37psi above 1600 rpms. and 13 psi at idle.

check the reading with a mechanical gauge, and get rid of that stp and put a mopar or wix filter on.

Absolute junk, right along with Fram.

Try this. Replace JUST your oil filter with a Wix or Napa Gold and see what happens to your oil pressure.

Try the experiment. You won't lose any oil changing the filter because it's such a POS and it won't be holding oil. It lets all the oil drain out on shut-off.
O'Reilly's now carries Wix. Check out their oil filter comparison at the parts counter.

If it ain't knocking, keep rocking. Please don't get obsessed with oil pressure readings. Other than changing filter to rule out that it may be clogged there is nothing else you can do....short of a rebuild. Low readings are the sign of increased clearances (wear). I have stated many times that if you see oil flowing under the valve cover you are OK since this is the highest lubrication point gravity will insure oil is getting everywhere else. I have been driving a long time with only 4 psi on my 4.0. I KNOW the engine is worn but until it knocks I cannot justify rebuilding or replacing it.
