Yeah you have the np241 I believe, pre96 has the np231. You have the rubber boot I believe, I do not.

I've seen both the 30mm hex head and the 10mm allen on the 231. Just depends on the year I think. Pretty sure my 95 YJ with the 231 had the allen head.

New Process transfer cases were molded for GM as well as for Chrysler and the GM cases used a big hex plug and a gasket for fill and drain. Chrysler cases use a 1/2" pipe plug which is 10mm internal hex and are flush when installed. It's possible a 231 could be assembled in a GM case if they had a large overstock of those case halves. The front half of the case is different for GM. Mainly bolt pattern.
