oil leaking from air beather?

88 Cherokee 4.0 didn't have a pcv valve is Wat I was told.. is that true? Bc Mine just has a rubber hose running from the valve cover into the pipe of my air filter.

Correct. They have a CCV system instead of a PCV. Basically does the same job. Just a couple of elbows and hoses. It lets the engine burn off some of the vapors that the engine creates.

Clean the elbow and hose that go from the back of your valve cover to the intake manifold. this is the one with vacuum, the one on the front that goes to the air box is a breather.
