How bad is the leak? Do you have to put oil in every day? I have a rear main leak and my mechanic told me that if I am not pouring oil into it every few days to leave it for now.

I had a leak coming from that side before and it frustrated the hell out of me couldn't pinpoint where it was coming from. Until one day a buddy told me the front differential pinion seal was leaking. Not saying it's the same for u here but worth a shot to look at it, easiest $7 leak I've ever fixed.

I guess to elaborate more. A leaks source can be far from where you actually see it accumulate; because of the air turbulence caused by driving, most times the source is closer to the front than where drips on the driveway. Try cleaning the undercarrage and engine bay out really good with a degreaser...wipe down with fresh rags. Take it for a little drive and look for fresh oil. You'll find it!
