yes i did. i knew it couldn’t be the RMS as that has been replaced by the previous owner recently. there was so much sludge where the leak was that it was hard to differentiate where. i’m slowly learning about cars, and never thought to think of it leaking from the switch. but you live and you learn

 

Maybe you should go back to that oil change place and ***** about them cracking the pressure switch. It is so easy to do that when I worked at Valvoline, my store kept them in stock! The boss was pretty nice in that he allowed you to screw up once, but twice and you cleaned out your locker!

 

One thing I have learned about leaks..clean the suspect area spotless FIRST, takes a while and is messy, but it allows one to pinpoint the leak, so it saves time in the end.

You end up with a clean engine too...thereby allowing you to ID future leaks
