Default oil leak

i have look but did not find the answer i was looking for i dont think
ok this is the deal when im driving the jeep cherokee it has the 4.0 motor
when im driving around easy the engine does not leak but if you gas on the engine while driving then it will start leaking oil between the motor and the tranny ....so i was wondering if it would be building pressure up in the crank case since the ccv thing on the valve cover is not hook up the one in the front of the valve cover goes to the breather ....so any help would be greatly appreciated

Clean the area off and run it to see if it gets covered in oil. It can also be the valve cover or the oil filter adapter or the rear main seal. All of those can leak oil down the back of the engine.

If it is not hooked up it will leak oil and between the engine and tranny is the common place for leaking oil to collect. Higher RPMs mean more leaking in the CCV system since it will be slinging oil harder.

Carb cleaner... Brake Cleaner.. Any degreaser type will work great. If you use a pressur washer make sure your engine is running and dry prior to shutting it off. Our Throttle bodies don't like being wet.
