Thanks for all the info and part numbers. I really appreciate it. I'm off work today so I'm going to see what I can find. I seen online last night O'Reilly auto has the dorman set, so thinking I'll start there.
Thanks again

Anyone who defends Fram and their crappy filters has drunk the Kool-Aid of corporate america sticking it in our ***.

Hey, nothing better than a pop can filled with mouse nesting and cereal box parts for my aging tractor motor.
I feel kinda icky even saying the word.

Orange Can Of Death! OCOD? Dang Pete, didn't I come up with something better a couple years ago?

mentionable

Where the heck is salad?

Fram is crap. Dhitty medium, anti drain back valve is funk. Wix/Napa gold, Motorcraft? Easy options for the Orange Can Of Death. (do Keep in mind that we often go over 300K with the 4.0, and the AW-4 tyranny is supper as well)

i was in the same boat as you. I hate to say it, but I just bit the bullet and bought them from the dealer. $24 for three o rings had mu butt soar for a couple of days, but I know they are the right ones and will last the rest of my jeeps life.

The orings DFlintstone posted will as well... Been using them for the last few years. Set on my 00 are over 100000kms old now. Ones on my 88 are about 6 months old. No leaks. $1.92 a set.
The Mopar orings are not some special oring, they are just a standard run of the mill AS568 sizing generic oring, in an overpriced package.

I know Jeep sells the O-Ring kits for a 1999 model because I bought one from the dealership.

Only people who would make a statement about Fram filters like that and uses them doesn't care about the engine there going on for sure.

Went and picked up the Dorman assortment o-rings. Hope to get it all changed out tonight. I looked through my hanes/Chilton books and couldn't find the torq spec listed anywhere. When I Googled it, just about everything I read said that they tightened the bolt as far as they could.

Does anyone know what the torq is for the adapter?

Thanks again for all the help
