oil dipstick tube broken

oil dipstick tube broken

Need good advice on the easiest way to remove oil dipstick tube that is broken off flush with where the tube enters the engine block.

You could try spinning it out with a loose tap. Or tap it, then thread a bolt in and pull it out

try a flathead screwdriver? put in then angle it a litle and gently pull. dont bend the tube!!

or drop oil pan and push it out. dont do when engines hot or the gasket cools and shrinks.
