Default oh boy???

On my way home from work,i look in the rearview mirror, and all i see is smoke,i pull over and my transfer case and the surrounding area is smoking and leaking ,i guess transfer case oil, idk,i get home and fluid is leaking everywhere except by the motor.what the hell did i do? This morning on the way to work, everytime i let off the gas, there was a grinding noise, and then this.I had no choice but to keep going ,i had to be at work.Ever since i got this 4.5 inch RC lift i heard a faint grinding, then this, but the weird thing is drives better with no grinding.I guess i will take it to the garage first thing in the morn.

Did you drop the transfer case when you lifted it? Angle wise.

Check your ATF level. I'm willing to bet you overheated your trans and dumped ATF on your exhaust.

The angle Change from your lift with the spacers is what causes the fluid to leak out. But yeah transfer case might be your problem, it pouts out your output seal.

Nope, it has a breather hose on top of it mounted to the bellhousing. When it spews out it ends up on the exhaust, can create one hell of a smoke screen.

If that was the case every trail would be covered in ATF fluid.

STHON your a life saver,i would have spent a lot of $$$ prob,so u think in the morning i should check all fluid levels, and get engine cleaner and spray off bottom of tranfer case? I guess iwas going to fast,i went to pass a 18 wheeler at 75 mph, maybe with the bigger tires and strain on the trans i was going too fast,IDK,lol
