I don’t see why wear items such as tires, radiators brakes etc. would disqualify anyone..
are they being replaced with OEM type equipment?
So Snojeep --- YES, your's is a qualified "Survivor" (considering Justcruzin is the O.P. who set the criteria).
I was going to say that the conditions given were original body and drivetrain - so I would think that repairs and minor parts are acceptable, but engine/tranny/transfer case rebuilds/replacements, lift kits, trimmed fenders, modified axles, permanent light bars, etc. would not.
I have to think the guy with the powder coated wheels would qualify. Actually, I would think that even aftermarket wheels would be OK, as would things like trailer hitches, plows, or any other minor accessory that didn't require cutting/drilling/welding to add. However, that's just my opinion.
Then the other question is what about floor pans? As we all know, it's incredibly difficult to avoid having some kind of floor pan repair. Would having to have new floor pans welded in disqualify someone? If that's too substantial a fix, what if someone had one or two small patches? I would suggest that floor pans or things like sidemarker or tail lenses would be acceptable. I mean, the word used was "survivor", not "completely original".. survivor implies that you made it through, but not necessarily unscathed.
I once saw an ad for a classic muscle car that read:
"Unmolested, unrestored, original condition".
IMO that is the definition of a survivor.
Pretty sure what Justcruzin was looking for.
But I asked that question about my Jeep anyway.
Thinking it would not qualify.
Hey I wanted to show off my Jeep too. LOL.

I get what you're saying. I removed the pic of my 87 plow jeep. Besides the bolt-on plow and newer wheels, it's a time capsule.
Nice XJ's guys!!
I believe there's a difference between all factory original and survivor. Our Jeep XJ's aren't those blue chips that sit untouched and stagnating in plastic storage bubbles. They are running driving Jeeps being enjoyed as God and Richard Teague intended. Since this is CF.C and not Concourse d"snooty d'Elegance at Pebble Beach i think Snow Jeep qualifies as survivor despite it's tires lacking the precise amount of factory original air And the plow is a period correct accessory. If I'm not mistaken those are Dietz lights on the plow frame but you would have to put the picture back up for us to be sure.
Nice Cherokee's ............ Here's mine Red 99 Sport 220.000 klm on the clock totally original
Blue 96 Limited 360.000 klm on the clock .. original except for the roof cage fitted to the stock rack led light bars and I got rid of the wheels a few years ago and added hood louvers ... So 99% original
Both cruising the dirt roads of Outback Australia
