so it's come to my attention recently that late AMC XJs had tire carriers from the FACTORY, which is awesome. they look cool to me, not sexy but very utilitarian. it seems they're unicorns though, nobody has em and cant find em. closest you'll get is guys coming across a rusted out one at a junkyard, which leads me to my question: theres no possible way this item could be legit, right? http://www.oemautopartsandaccessorie...bc9fc56886fe9/

has anybody every ordered anything from this site? cant imagine if i placed this order i'd actually get the tire carrier. just wondering if any other jeepos out there went down a similar path lookin for that OEM carrier. over and out

EDIT: just added it to cart and it says "out of stock". coulda told me that BEFORE but guess that was too much to ask. oh well, my search continues. over and out

You want an oem one right? that may be very hard to find.... maybe gotta shell out alot of cash too. If you arent to picky im sure you can find an aftermarket one similar to an oem one.

brother i've searched high and low and cannot find one similar to the OEM one. do you have any recommendations? I have a pretty beefy aftermarket bumper on, so I was thinking of buying just a swing away and adding it, but to be honest i don't like the look of any of them. very bulky or aggressive, no class. over and out

Looks like this guy is a parts broker. You placed your order and then he locates the part and drop ships it to you. Very unlikely you'll find a tire carrier through this guy. I can't find a phone number on the website so looks like you'll have to place an order and then a couple weeks you hear back whether they found one or not.

Also if you cant find it maybe a custom metal work shop can make you one just show them a picture and tell them you want something like this. That would be my only option.
