Hi. I have been buying up genuine Mopar OEM sensors for my 93 XJ. I figured get them before they are no longer available, and you read everywhere OEM are the best for a Jeep. And I have no intention of ever selling my Jeep. Have got to date CPS, temp & oil senders, Distributor pickup & TPS. I am having trouble finding a IAC valve. Found one OEM on eBay but it will be over NZ$200 (I live in New Zealand). My questions are, do these valves give any trouble? And would a aftermarket one be OK?
Also the MAP sensor, aftermarket OK?
You all probable think I'm mad buying up sensors, but unlike in USA where spares are available from wrecking yards, second hand spares are scarce in NZ. And what are around people want the earth for them. Thanks

No help here straight away on the OEM. I will say if an IAC is powered up when it's pintle won't "hit home", (it's removed from the TB), it might run the pintle off it's threads and monkey up it's calibration. The IAC is an electric motor that turns a threaded shaft, controlled by the puter" If the rubber nose is OK and the motor works, re-calibrating it may be possible.
