Default OEM Replacement Shocks Help

Hi All,

I've been lurking since April when I picked up a '01 Cherokee 4.0 4x4, nice forum you have here and thank you for all of the good reading thus far!

I have done a search so please direct me in the right direction if I missed it, but I need suggestions on good OEM replacement shocks. I do not do any wheeling and live in SoCal so don't need anything extreme.

Thanks for the help!!!!!

I would just check you local parts store for replacment OEM shocks.
also it you are doing rear shocks, be prepared for the bolts to brake off on the frame side, this is common but not a huge deal, if this happens just take a punch and pound the nut off of the frame, then just use a bolt, nut and a couple washers.

Since you will be doing mostly street driving, I'd either go with a cheap KYB shock......or, for more spirited street driving, I have used Bilstiens and been very happy. They are a little more firm, but worth the money for a tighter street ride.
