You could also run your vin through jeep nd see if it came with rke.

Who's they?,,,,, harness runs from pass. kick panel by fuse box, runs up the A pillar pass. side, across the front of the headliner to the middle of the roof then 90deg. toward the rear of the vehicle where the dome light would be. I didnt want to cut my head liner just yet so I 2 side taped the module to the roof.

The module is 2"x4" or so. If you search around there are some good factory downloads for service and parts , diagrams, color codes, pinouts,,,pretty easy but I think I'll go with a remote start with lock/ unlock feature. The aftermarket systems have alot better range.

the module board on a 2000 Cherokee is located in the dome light, take your clear cover off of the light in between the map lights, take the two number two Phillips screws out and slide the whole thing forward towards the windshield and pull down and it's in the back of it
