I'm thinking the mounts pictured in the link that 5-speed provided might be a good "in-between" motor mount solution.
Remember to always get the cross-bolt torque correct and not too tight. Might wanna install everything loose and then start the engine and let it settle in before tightening the fasteners.
I guess I'll give them a shot. Even if the TJ mounts would work they seem to be sold out or possibly discontinued.
No one has even mentioned the durometer scale which is what really matters. Bushings act just like a coil with spring rates, soft to hard. It depends on the application and the location of the bushing to determine the proper bushing material. These guys designed their motor and tranny mounts/bushings based on the OEM factory bushings durometer scale and made improvements.

Do you have those mounts installed? The price is good but I'd like to know how they feel on a stock Cherokee.
No, not yet anyways. My transmission mounts arent looking that great. Like I mentioned above the bushings are the same on the durometer scale as the Jeep factory. They should feel like a stock Cherokee with new factory mounts. I know I don't want my transmission bouncing around.
I have ordered parts from them several times with good service. Worth a call.
Here is something about the tranny mount that I wonder about.
Thinking that one will fit up to '99.
But '00 and '01 are different.
Offset or not offset never can remember which.
Anyway if you can find a Mopar one for an '00 or '01 last time I looked it cost over $200 off Mopar websites.
While '99 and down off the Mopar websites I have seen for as cheap as $50.
So what makes a '99 not work in an '00 or '01.
Is it the crossmember?
Is it the different exhaust that the '00's and '01's have?
Combination of the 2?
If it is just the crossmember can you get one from a '99, put it in an '00 and use the '99 mount?
Etc.
These are some of the things that I think about.
LOL.
I recently installed the stinkyfab Motor mounts with their mounting plates and trans mount. There is noticeable vibes while running in park or in gear at full stop. Granted I barely have 100mls on them yet but by no means are they severe and are undetectable under power at speed. And it’s pretty straight forward to tune out any vibes causing you grief.also good to let them settle in for a couple thousand miles and reassess the vibes if any. It’s a nice firm set up. Good seat of the pants feel. Dallas makes quality speed parts for sure. Money well spent.

Thanks for the information and review! Nice to know before buying myself 👌

I happen to have SFR's motor mounts and their transmission mount and I get a lot of vibration in the cab. I mean a lot and that's why I'm reading this forum, because I'm looking for OEM recommendations.
