Alright guys, my first post. Got my dads '01 cherokee sport a few weeks ago, and I'm looking to finally install some fog lights. I'm interested in OEM fog lamps, the ones that will directly fit in the slots in the bumper caps. Has anybody done this before? I'd like to get a factory style rocker switch to sit next to the rear wiper and rear defroster. I've googled over and over again but sadly it doesnt seem popular. What do I do and what else will I need?

 

I found a factory fog light panel at the junk yard and bought some cheap blazer lights at Advance Auto Parts along with wire and a relay. I wired everything to the factory switch and it works and looks just like OEM.

 

Got any pics I can look at? It's funny I noticed a few lamps at AAP Just yesterday

 

I too am considering this route.
My XJ has two holes in the bumper, almost as if someone already had fog lights installed at some point- there is also a small hole next to the rear defrost switch, as if a metal toggle was once there.

My build sheet doesnt say it came with them, so it would have been something that somebody did... but then why take them off, i wonder.

 

That's weird, I don't know who would want to take fog lights out lmao. I've been looking at a pair of 6" anzos for my bumper as well

You can get replacement factory fog lamps with bulbs and bracket on rock auto for like 30.00 per side.
