Default OEM Cassette eject issue

Cant get the cassette to eject from the radio from the stock radio on a 98. I can press the 5 button in FM or AM mode but it only changes the station presets. Not sure if there is a malfunction or if its user error.

I think you mean Cassette and not a "cosset"
Also it's Lynyrd Skynyrd and not "lynard skynad"I guess you spell check doesn't work. LOL
Don't take it wrong I was just messing with you.

Blank TDK SA-90s are $5+ each if you can find them, 16 gb flash drive for $9.95, it's a no brainer.

If you only use the cassette player to play your iPod I wouldn't worry about removing the the cassette. But if you really want to get it out and it is jammed in there or something you'll probably have to tear into it. Which at that point why bother and just throw a new radio in there with an aux cord input or bluetooth etc.

The only way to activate cassette mode is by inserting a cassette. Once you power off the radio defaults back to fm radio. So if I cant get the cassette out then I cant get the radio back to cassette mode.
