Wondering if anyone has a link/info on getting a detailed OEM build sheet for XJ's the Vin decoders I've found been very basic. Looking to get OEM gears and axle information... Thanks in advance

There used to be this Mopar/Chrysler email address you could send your VIN and personal info to and they would email you the complete build sheet. You have to be the registered owner though. I'll see if I can find it but it was like 7 years ago.

Edit: Found it.

I'm not a "registered" owner and I got my build sheet. I don't have the address as I am on my phone, but a search on here and you'll find it. There were several threads.

They are looking for RPO codes? Not many different axles/ratios were ever offered.

Interesting, last time I requested one for a Jeep I just bought they said they couldn't complete it because my info didn't match. Maybe I put in the Jeep info incorrectly and it had nothing to do with me being the registered owner.

Ever thought of looking on the tags on the diff covers?

Or doing a drain and fill, and while there read the numbers off the ring gear?

Yes, I am looking for Rotation info and pinion info as I'm looking into upgrading my gears, the drain and fill was done in December when I didn't have an itch to regear, and it 5* outside! I choose to sit on my lazybones!

What is "rotation and pinion info?" I don't understand what you're looking for.
