odd? front freeze plug looks like

it looks like it has an electrical connector in it? nothing connected to it. wth am i looking at here.....?

Sounds like it is a engine block heater for use in the cold weather months.

thats what i thought. wheeew, looked wierd to me, but then again i live in the desert
