Does any one know where the od 2 reader plugs in. I have an 89 Cherokee?

When the check engine light comes on. I have an odII Reaser I just can't find where the plug is so I can read the code.

You don't have OBDII on an 89. Started in 96.

you dont have a check engine light...or any way to read codes renix does not store them

The only way you can see whats going on with the engine is with a DRB2 (chrysler scan tool) or a MODIS with a "Jeep 1" connector or equivalent. The plugs are under the hood, by the relay blocks on the passenger side fender.

All true ^. I did see someone talking about something from Snap-ON. That's news to me.

There is a port forward of the bottle. I took a minute with my analog meter this morning going over all the pins thinking maybe one "t'd" into the 02 sensor wire. All I read was zero or 12, none was waving over 2-1/2 volts, which IS what my 02 sensor wire is doing. There's always the chance I screwed that up somehow. Did it like three times though.
