Just bought a cheap ELM327 bluetooth adapter for Torque for Android. says it works for all OBD2 protocols. Works fine on every car I try except the 2 xj's I tried. one was a 97 and mine is a 99. Any way to find out what protocol mine uses? Is it the ISO9141-2? Wondering if I buy a not so cheap ELM327 if it will work... Any info is appreciated.

 

I tried the Movi program on OSX. But I can't get any info off the car. Elm327 usb cable. Anyone know which standard to use?
