Is this obd1 or obd2?
I've got a 96 xj made on 8/95. I think 8/95 and up was obd2? And before 8/95 was obd1? Did the obd1 Xjs have a plug under the dash? I know some obd1 cars didn't and it was under the good or somewhere else. Help me out?

A 8/95 build date would be a '96 year model XJ. ALL '96 model year vehicles, of whatever make, sold in the US were required to be OBD-II. A number of '95 year model vehicles (not XJs) were OBD-II and even some '94 year model vehicles were OBD-II.
