How many 02 sensors are there supposed to be on a stock xj,mine is a 94, it was missing the exhaust system and engine was out when i took ownership.

95 xj will have 2 o2 sensors, the pre cat O2 sensor is located in the exhaust manifold, the post cat between cat and muffler. This is assuming your replacement engine and exhaust is 1991-1995 4.0L if you plan on using a 96-99 engine comfirm your PCM will work with a newer engine.
