Read post #12 again about using a vacuum gauge.


Reach under the Heep and either rap the Cat with a mallet or kick it and listen for what sounds like loose crap rattling around inside. But this is not conclusive.


You could do the Cat removal trick but if there's no difference make sure the CAT is reinstalled. And, you may get a CEL for the downstream O2S not working. Make sure the O2S is secured out of the way of the drive shaft.
