Where is the O2 sensor located on an 87 wagoneer/cherokee 4.0?

Haynes is showing it off the cat, but mine does not have a connection there.

if its like my 89 should be on the manifold just above the flange where the pipe bolts up

Thanks! Yes, that's where it was. It's a bear to get to though- no clearance in any direction. Got the part at Advance for 19.99, but I'm going to have to get the shop to put it in.... guess it all evens out.

Let us know how the Advance 02 work out. I have heard mixed reviews about them not really working.
