my buddy is looking to buy a 98 xj and apparently the computer code indicated bad O2 sensor(s)? so they were replaced, however its still running rich and indicating bad O2 sensor?
it only has 140k on it currently.

Check the fuse. Mine were replaced a couple of months ago but it continued to throw the same code. Turns out the fuse was blown. Service receipt says that "heater relay fuse" was replaced. Good luck!
