O2 sensor????

Default O2 sensor????

i have an 88 cerokee and for the past 2 days almost everytime i start it, it runs like its out of gas. I'll even try to give it gas and the rpm's stay around 900-1000. It also sounds choppy..i was thinking it was a O2 sensor or crankshaft sensor..

please help mee,

My 87 doesn't have the o2 sensor working right now. Its snapped in half, and dangling down by my front diff.

It runs fine.

Un plugged is better then one plugged in and mis reading.

My sensor itself is snapped in half and its dangling by the wires.

If the RPMs are not responding when you move the throttle, then it is more than likely a problem with oxidation inside the TPS or the electrical connector. Couldn't hurt to check for a vacuum leak on the MAP sensor.
