not sure if i want to lock my rear end or not bc right now its a mud toy but in the spring time it going on the road bc redoing my 92 f150 351w 4x4 so is a locker good or well it wear the rear end and tires down and btw i love to do burn outs lol

Where to start... first off are you going to drive it at all on the street if you are don't do any kind of full time locker, if you can afford it go with a air locker. I have them front and back on my xj they are great off road but they can be a pain in the *** at times they refuse to unlock so I can tell you first hand do not try to use lockers on road...
Automatic lockers will ratchet so its not like a full time locker. The trick to cornering is speeding up straight forward then letting off a bit when u need to corner.
