NSS switch proiblems
so on my 96 cherokee i have my check engine light on i need to get it off so it will pass smog. the code is a p1899 (neutral safety switch failure) i have cleaned the switch and put on another one then i tried starting it with the neutral safety switch unplugged and it still started. i think the previous owner some how bypassed the switch. please let me know how i can fix this
