NSS bypass stopped working, why?
I have been using the NSS bypass trick for several months now and it always got my 97xj sport going when it would not start. However, yesterday when I tried to do it...nothing. All the same symptoms, nothing different. Any reason why the bypass would no longer work? Battery is good, connections are good, recently replaced alternator but that is it. Any other problems that would mimmic a bad NSS? thank you.

First off. I bypass to start it only when it needs it and then take out the jumper. Second I do not live in a place that would allow me to do this kind of work. Third, I don't have the money to take it in. Fourth...if you can't be constructive please keep your traps shut. Jerks.
THE QUESTION WAS: Since the NSS bypass does not work, what would mimic the same symptoms...since it is obviously NOT that? So your non-answer of fixing the NSS is useless!
