One thing you may want to do that isn't mentioned in that writeup is to re-tension the springs. Gently stretch them to make them just a bit longer to restore pressure on the contacts.

ok great thanks. that will definitly help. hope this goes well. ive heard of people breakign them while trying to clean them and im guessing thats when they are trying to get it off or the trany.

yay! i have back up lights now! haha the write up worked great. took about an hour. i forgot to take pictures till i was almost done other wise i would of shown you how dirty it was. works great now. thanks for all the help
