Mystery square rubber seal broken and gunk stuff

Mystery square rubber seal broken and gunk stuff
There's this rubber padding thing seal with the cross bar but the square rubber thing is covered in black gunk and a corner chunk of the rubber is cracked and breaking off. Help me guys!

The mount is like 25-30$
The pan gasket is like $14
4-5 qts of ATF $35
2 hours of your time
If that is going to hurt your wallet you can wait.
