Default NP242 Rear Output Bushing

I can grab a hold of the rear driveshaft at the transfer case and wiggle it up and down. After a bit of research I found this is due to a worn output bushing in the rear extension housing of the TC.

Does anyone have any tips on the replacement of this bushing? I read somewhere that it's better to replace the entire extension housing which already has the bushing installed.

Sit new bushing over old and tap on it. This should push out the old and install the new at same time .
